    A/C Compressor question

This question is for those who are using M30B35 specifically.

What is the part number on your A/C Compressor? Is it OEM or aftermarket with aftermarket kit bracket?

I am trying to confirm also if the E24 635csi/ E32 735i and E34 535i cars all came with the same compressors.

I might have to source one as the one that came with my engine is questionable.

    Thank you

I'm running A/C on my m30 swap - part No. 64528385712 - I believe the m20 compressor will work, just the mounting brackets are specific to the motor ie: m30b35, m30b34, m20b23, m20b25 etc...

Just to let you know, you will have to run your m30 in position 3 to clear the a/c, power steering pully as it is sits very close to the radiator (closer than rotor cap) I'm running custom mounts.

Joe's B35 mounts. I would really like A/C to work. We'll see how it all fits I guess :)

I'm pritty sure you will have clearance issues with joe's mounts (too far forward.)

i need to fit a compressor back onto mine.
I have a compressor and mount from a 89 535 and a mount and compressor from my 84 325i (eta)
these need to fit onto my 90 325i swapped to M30

Providing the engine in your car is a m30b35 - the '89 535 brackets should work fine with either compressor.
