S62 would be really cool. Quite expensive, though.

both of those s62 swaps look like they kept the master cylinder in the OE location. Anyone know what they used to get it to fit?

Hardly modified firewall and moved brakebooster & cylinder quite a lot away from engine.

In my opinion that's way too tight place to squeeze them, lots of other things in the same place also. It's not that bad to move the booster away and make linkage for it.

humm... do you think a hydraulic booster would fit there? or is it even too tight for that?

Of course you can make anything fit there but i see no reason in that because you've such a lot of space behind headlights (well with S62 you've the intake-tubes there but they can be modified much easier than cylinder head).

I took the best ideas of couple of guys who've done the swap already and put it together like this. I'm not saying it's the only and best alternative but i like it :). Those brake-lines etc aren't finished yet in the picture..

Very nice. Do you have any more pics of how you have the M/C and booster mounted?

                TIA

Here're my project pics, there are couple different angles of the linkage. It's pretty simple, mostly modified E34 V8 brake parts.

Here's one German E30 V8 which has bit same kind of brake setup.

Ok. So I found an engine in the junk yard. I was wondering if it would fit. Does anybody know if a 735 engine would bolt up or be able to bolt up in the e30 body. Let me know I want to get the engine when it goes on sale towards the end of June. Thanks

Yes it fits...but do some searching before you post.

We have several threads on this subject already.
