    avg mpg thread

    A reference for M30 guys.
Diff, Motor, Trans, Driving style, wheel size - avg city, avg hwy

It would be good to have the occasional M20, M50, S52, and M42 guy chip in.
No need for any S14 guys to chip in... If you are watching your gas mileage, you're doing it wrong.

    3.46 Diff, Chipped B35, Getrag 280, heavy foot, 16" wheels - avg around town 11ish, highway 22ish

Bonus points if you have gas receipt proof...

Not much different from an M20 manual car pushing a 4.10 diff... ?

Stock b35, g260, 3.25lsd, 16" wheels, right foot made of lead.

I got 25mpg on my way back from NY yesterday, the first 30 miles was all back road fun, then the rest was cruising at 80 with bursts up to 100 every 5 minutes or so.
