They are usually really helpful. If you caught it before the order went out you should be fine, Shit they may fix it anyway.

Awesome man! Just checked fedex. Can't wait to see em!

Btw, would you consider your motorpos 2 to be more like motor pos 2.5 or would it be 3 (in comparison to the e30.de mounts)

I really don't know how they compare with de mounts position wise. The distance between the mounting holes is exactly 1" on my mounts.

Cool man no worries, I was just wondering.

Anybody have any recommendations for motor mount bushings? I seemed to have skipped over the part where people talked about these. I am assuming you use stock e30 motor mount bushings, but i want something stiffer... I was thinking IE Urethane motor mounts

            what do ya'll think?

Hi man.. I used the IE motor mounts and they are nice, they keeep the engine from moving all around in your engine bay (instead now the engine moves the whole car :P) you could also go for AKG 75d mounts ive heard they are not bad but havent tryied them my self. luck

I have IE motor and tranny mounts and they're awesome. Otis' mounts are awesome! I used my 87is drive shaft and shift linkage with no issues. Of the two positions in Otis', mounts I used the one that pushes the motor more forward so I could do a valve adjustment more easily (its not that difficult to move it back after) and its very close, but you'll clear the radiator no issue.

fire the m30 up w/o an exhaust... its pretty beasty :)

I've only done ~500 miles so far on mine, but I love it. -Radiator hoses get expensive though, one of them is like $70 ... unless you're willing to make your own.

I've done 500 miles in the two weeks that the car has been moving :)

Ya I decided to go with the radiator hose without the heater core addition. I figure I can make a tline or something for it.

Bmaparts changed my order and got me the NGK spark plugs and e28 radiator. Best part is, shipping was free for everything, which would have actually cost me like 60 dollars so I saved some good money doing a huge order through them :)

honestly i am going to probably just try to jbweld a small PVC extension onto the current hose and run spare radiator hose from there to the heater core. and the spare radiator hose will be clamped on using either a small tbolt or those band clamps that stock radiators use.

Still haven't started my swap yet. I'll be sure to post pics and process behind the radiator hose though.

Hey man, nice to see you working on your car again.

Here are a few things I noticed while doing my swap:

                            - O-reilly's will have the lower e28 radiator hose new for under $30.
                            - Run without the heater core first, just because bleeding it will be a PITA. I believe the e34 will have the right hose you need for the heater core (which I should have btw).
                            - You will most likely only be able to get a pusher fan in there
                            - The tranny is most likely a 260/6. I am using this one as well, and the stock shifter will not work. You will need to get a short shifter, otherwise getting it into gear will be near impossible. I picked one up from Jajou that he used to run on his M Coupe and it works great.

                            - I bought the AKG poly mounts and they seemed solid for the little time I have driven it.
                            - I also got a stage 2 clutch. I'll let you know how it works out once I start pushing it hard.

What cams are you planning on running? From what I've heard, they don't do much on the m30 performance-wise.

I've hit many snags on this swap, so if you need help just holler.
