Very. I've gotten to the point that I like it a lot, but everyone else who feels it complains that their leg is about to snap after pushing it in.

Hey just curious so, jb sells the e34 m30 flywheel for $630 and sells the e34 m5 for $497?? I know its cheaper cause its a replacement for a single mass flywheel, but if im about to buy a new flywheel/clutch kit for my car (M30 B35 getrag 260/6) then I shouldnt have problems with fitment with the m5 flywheel right? although my m30 clutch wouldnt work?? Thanks alotLast edited by HandalE30; 06-17-2009, 08:47 AM.Leave a comment:

e28 535i clutch kit, but yes.
I'm ready to go with an M5 clutch, just because I've seen it work.Leave a comment:

I think he means does the e28 clutch kit work with the m5 flywheel.Leave a comment:

pilot bearings are all the same. It basically locates the input shaft of the transmission so it doesn't wobble around. It has nothing to do with what clutch you run. If you buy a complete clutch kit, it should come with one.
I didn't replace my pilot bearing because it was pressed on there like a mother from the factory. If yours isn't making noise or causing trouble, don't worry about it.Leave a comment:

No idea. My engine was originally from an auto so I had to get a new one anyways.Leave a comment:

Same transmission I have. I'm using a e34 m5 clutch and flywheel with stock e28 everything else except the e30 slave. It is stiff! (no homo)
edit: I have an m5 pilot bearing thing as well (thing that goes in the middle of the flywheel to center the input shaft)Leave a comment:
