Weight of the m30 long block

Well, Harbor Freight didn't have it in stock. Ordered a "550 lb HANGING SPORTSMAN SCALE - DIAL TYPE" from ebay.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280371567032

I thought that these sportsmans were more of a ballpark anyways, what you should do is see if you can take it to a scrap metal yard, they wont get the weight wrong. I don't know if they will just weigh it for you though, maybe you could convince them.

Not sure hoq accurate they are. I just used the same scale to weight both, m10 with it's tranny and the m30 with it's tranny to see the difference in weight. Can subtract the weight of the tranny to get the weight of the longblock.
