I went out today and installed the shift linkage by letting the transmission droop by unbolting it, got it installed bolted the tranny back up and took a lunch break. Came back to fit the drive shaft and noticed that the drivers side mounting point for the tranny had broken leaving about an inch still mounted the the poly bushing. The question is can it be welded while still in the car? Alot is hooked up and i really want to avoid pulling it. Can I just let it be(doubt it)? Any suggestions? I need to get this swap running!
