with a 140lbs driver and full tank of gas ;)

and i stood on the scale myself without the car to make sure it was accurate

                  and yes 1985 2 door

also just went and weighted my friends prelude...2980 with no gas... and just me in it...

made me feel good, i honestly thought it would be lighter,

Ah, then that's not too bad. My stiripped e30 weighed in at 2606 lbs with me in it and about half a tank of gas. (cage, Passenger seat, and AC still in).m I used longacre scales to weigh it.

I've been around, just busy with getting the 6 ready for paint and building our 3.5 liter Alfa Milano track car. Half of the reason I want to build another 335i is so I can harass the boss with it when we have our track days!

Do you have any idea if an '86 or '87 325e 2 door would have any appreciable weight difference compared to your '85?

the only thing my 85 doesnt have compared to an 86 or 87 is abs

so otherwise should be just the same, i also have no windshield washer res, sprayers or hoses, but thats so little wieght

I'll weigh mine once I get it running again. Weighed 2575 with the m20 in it.
