    without you or gas? thats pretty damn light and the m30 isnt that much heavier then the m20

      do 85s have lighter carpet/sound proofing like the 84s? my 84 318i barely has anything in it.... trunk doesn't even have tar.

        i dont know to be honest, ill have to check im pretty sure i have tar in the trunk and my carpets and padding are just as thick as my old 86

          That was without me and about 1/4 tank. On a local coal scale. I don't know how accurate it is but I can at least use the number to compare with the new number.

                84 318i chassis with euro bumpers
                full interior etc
                m30b35 with g260/6
                no jack or spare tire and a/c compressor
                2500lbs with half a tank of gas.

                      trunk tar still in place, but everything else out of the trunk. I took out that clay disk and the spare.

                      But yes traction can get interesting esp with my 185 snows on there...

                        and almost nothing else.....

                        i'm actually going to put a box in the trunk of the M30 swapped car for extra weight in the rear of it.
