Quick help on trans decision please!!!

I have located a G260/6 (solid bellhousing) with 150k on it for $400 shipped to my door
    or
    A trans from a '85 318i for $225 at a yard down the street with (130k).

ive heard the 318 trans is weak but never from someone thats had one.

Ill be making up to 500hp

    what you guys think?

The g240 definitely is a weaker transmission I would stay away from that, a 260 is good for at least 400hp

      $400 seems a little steep for a 260/6.

I got mine with like 200k for $80. Shipped.

Personal sale. Check mye28, there are usually a few over there.

$80 shipped for a 260 is not a typical price.

If you can get the 260/6 for $300 shipped I would get that over 240.
