Hey RickSloan, i think i have a late 318i flywheel coz when i went to fit up a 535i e28/e34 clutch the diameter was to big iirc 535i is 245mm and mine is about 215mm in diameter?? which is the same diameter as the 318i flywheel. I never knew what the flywheel was off coz it wasnt labelled at the wreckers it was just in a big pile of flywheels.
But the main question is how well do they perform lightend vs stock? do u lose any powerband in certain areas? etc etc.Last edited by e30 335i; 10-13-2009, 05:08 PM.

I am using a 533 single mass flywheel, and it revs up quickly and isn't a hassle to rev match on downshifts. It's still heavy enough for you to let the clutch out and get the car rolling from a dead stop in 1st or 2nd gears.
