    M30 Not pulling up top!!

I have a 1991 535iM that I have recently been restoring. I had the head professionally rebuilt, replaced all the gaskets, all cooling parts, all ignition minus wires. Well the car has been running problem free for 6 months. It pulls very good down low but I have always noticed that it doesn't seem to pull very well past 4500rpms. Meaning it pulls up to 4500rpm and then starts pulling slowly like it doesn't want to keep going(especially in 2nd gear)? It is like the motor is running out of air or something. I am still on the stock chip and AFM. Wondering if you guys have any insight to what may be going on?

Meaning the fuel pump is going? I have a new fuel filter on the way. Maybe the injectors?

        I want to say that's normal with a stock b34. ?
Here's a dyno of a stocker. looks to do what you're describing. Losing
20+tq might make it seem like it's hitting a wall.

Yeah, this is a B35 motor. But it may have similar powerbands. I will be doing at minimum a Miller MAF and Chip upgrade. I may even go turbo with this car, but I want to make sure the motor is healthy before I start upgrading.

not to be a shithead but there is no such thing as a 535M unless M stands for Manual

Yeah, I know. I was using the M to let you know my car is a 5 speed. The only M that was ever on a E34 was the M5 and the 1995 540i M-Tech. M540i was only sold in Canada, and they only got like 32 of them. But I am aware of everything. I have owned a few E34's now and have always been on bimmerforums, so don't think I am the typical noob that has no clue about anything.;)

Could be your fuel pump going on.... mine does this if I am at 1/4 gas of tank.
