I've been researching what I want to do with the m30 next year, thinking about going away from AFM and upgrading to possibly MS and a hotter cam.

Ok Jim Rowe suggested a Turbo cam similar to Pat P (e34biturbo) from Bimmerforum
292 intake factory exhaust and 11mm overlap
I am not sure on the exhaust lift I will double check
