    Oil Pan Gasket

    I know this has been covered somewhere, after searching for about 2 minutes with no answers, I'm starting a thread to ask. I don't really care if you tell me to search, somebody just give me an answer please.

    With an m30b34 and an oil pan from a b35, is it ok to use the b34 oil pan gasket? Or is it completely necessary to use a b35 oil pan gasket? It seems like the b34 gasket should work...

    the b34 gasket is fine i think there is a tab on the b35 gasket for part of the pan but it doesnt do anything

    so yes the b4 is just fine, heck just use some RTV!
