NO SPARK m30 swap!!!!

1991 e30 1989 m30 engine and harness
i got fuel in my car now! The only thing is no frickin spark! I put a test light on the coil on the side that goes to the computer. It gives me power when key is on. When cranking it gives me signal.

Im getting pulsating power at the coil and the injectors.
I do not get pulsating power at the crank shaft position sensor or the number 6 spark plug. But i do get power to the cps and number six spark plug.

I took the coil plug and put to metal to ground it to see if any power to the distributor and there is no ark! Or any sparks. And i do get fuel!

I swaped cps
swaped relays

did you replace the cap/rotor when you did the swap?

No - you didn't.

We are a peaty helpful bunch here - very helpful, especially in the m30 swap section. The guys that have done it know that finding all the answers can be a bit of work, so we pull together and lend a hand when we can.

Here's how your conservation looks to us;

you; HELP ME!
us: ok - well, we need to know X
you: HELP ME NOW!
us: :???:

Hopefully someone will come along with the patients needed to help a person like yourself figure out the swap. That guy ain't me.

I suggest you use the search function since you just told off one of if not the most helpful person on the forum.

So from your first post your injectors are
firing, your coil is firing, your spark plugs are also firing.

You're getting spark and fuel. But you say later on your coil isn't firing?
How were you getting spark to #6 then?

Make sure your spark wires are in the correct location.
Sounds dumb but does happen.

i'm having a hard time following what you are typing try this format:
spark-yes
fuel pressure-yes
timing verified-yes
etc
just because the injector is getting power does not mean it is not stuck closed. if the engine sat for a while it could be a problem.
Also the fuel pressure regulator could be causing problems

ohh jeez! okay im getting fuel. the injectors are pulsating. i have power to the coil. but the computer it telling the coil not to make power to the distributer. the computer is holding back for some reason. when everything is hooked up correctly. but thank you for the people that tried to help me out i really do apritiate =)

if the computer is telling it not to spark, how can it be pulsing the injectors?

it is pulsating injectors. fuel is all working! power to the coil! one side of coil is power while cranking and the other side is pulsating power. the way it should be correct? but no power to the distributor? computer is not grounding a wire or not letting power from coil to go to distributor?

the next thing i am going to try is what i read on a earlier thread. was to go to my round wirering plug. and number 15 wire to ground it to frame. and on the e30 chassis fuse box female connectors to switch number three to position number 8 on the plug. and see if i will get spark then.
