m30 turbo headers?? does anybody make them?

hi i was wondering about the m30 turbo swap. using the 745i turbo manifold seems like a really tight fit am i wrong? and how hard is it to make some manifold that can mount about 5 or 6 inches higher than were the AC condencer used to be?? im sure some of the smart guys have done this. how much in materials does it cost if you do it all yourself? and were is a good place to get materials?

or if there are guys that make them on here and sell them for a decent price that could be a option.

745i turbo manifold run around 250-350$

Miller is now making m30 turbo manifolds as well.

In addition to 666 fabrication, tcd makes a pretty sweet kit too.

In regards to the 745i manifold, anyone have any experience using this in an e30/m30 car? Can you adapt it to mainstream turbos or do you need to use the kkk turbo from the 745? Can you use the 745 downpipe successfully?

I used an upgraded k27. I'm sure with a little modification you can use others.

                  JoeMaddo,
Are you using the ECarToys turbo kit by chance?

What do you think about the reworked K27? What psi are you running, have you been to a dyno?

Sorry for all the questions.... My brother in law has a ECarToys kit with a Miller Warchip he wants to sell me for a very good price. Any feed back you can give would be helpful.

There's a guy on mye28 that is using a TCD manifold.
                      Plenty of room.

Yes, I have the upgraded one (gt35r wheel) and It's a huge improvement over the stock k27. Lag is almost gone. I'm running 10psi but I haven't been to a dyno. Worth the $$ IMO, especially if you get a good price.

Then again, you could always run this turbo... :P
