    S38 Conversion

    Good evening

    I have been trawling the forum for any info on the above conversion, can anyone point me in the right direction, if not, is there anyone here who is currently or has already completed their conversion? I am contemplation the swap and any pointers would be gratefully accepted.

    an s38??? damn thats a far bit expensive. sorry i have no info on that other than good luck on gettin a loan for that swap

      Ultimate 24v swap IMO. I have no experience with the motor myself but, needless to say your budget will have to be large.

      This could technically be put in the dohc section.

        just use google and put in s38 e30 swap. you are looking at spending a LOT of money!!! the interwebs!!!!

          I remember reading someone in Rocklin,CA was working on dohc m30 swap of some kind. I forgot who it was though....

          I imagine getting one of these engines in europe is easier than here...and probably cheaper too.

            I actually think the complexity of this swap is exaggerated - it's mostly the cost that is a killer. It's still a techno-M30 at heart.

              Me and my friend have completed this swap.. Look in the general discussion forum and find some documented info.. The complexity is not the issue with this swap.. Cost is the major factor, so be ready to drop some duckets!! PM me for details on my swap..
