    Joe Funk / Ottis / e30.de.

They aren't really that expensive considering how much work it takes to r&d them....you'll be hating life trying to move the engine in/out of the engine bay to get the mounts right.

    imho.

why is that? I had a positive experience dealing with Joe, although it was about a year ago.

I used beefy's mount's off the e30zone (uk) he will post to us and you get position 2 and position 3 so you can use the e34 rad if you want.

I also had no problems dealing with Joe and his b34 mounts are working just fine for me. I do recall some people having problems getting in touch with him while he was moving his shop but that's the only problem I could think of.

To make such negative statement you need to have some valid reasons to back it up...

I am using his mounts as well, work fine and didn't need any modifications.

I had a set of Joe's B35 mounts and they were fine, but a lot of people have had problems getting him to follow through on items. I just looked, and his last log on was Nov. 30th. I asked about B34 mounts a while back, and didn't get an answer.

Good guy from my experience, but hard to get a hold of.

i went to portland oreagon over the summer of 09 and bought joe funks mounts for 300. did the swap about 2 week ago. the mount was 6 inches off had to cut and weld the mount. he will not reply to my messages nor phone calls. i did not want to explain because then everyone will have some kind of remark back i figured.

i feel he ripped me off and had these mounts for swap that was realitivly close but he knew they look close enough so went ahead and sold them. but yes i agree with you guys he seemed nice in person and very helpful.

If it was 6 inches off you probably bought the wrong type mount (B34 / B35). Quite a few people have used his mounts. Was it the passenger side that was off?
