    Bearings for m30b35

    heloo!!
I started to reconditioned my engine (m30b35),and I hit to a problem with the bearings.I don't know what bearings to choose red or blue.
The crankshaft have blue points and engine block have red points.
Original bearings have part number for both colors.
    What bearings must buy?

If the bottom end is in good condition (or you can measure it), you probably just need Standard size bearings. I ordered mine from autohausaz they were 11211261033 STD main

Lol....why are you set on COLOR when it's more important to get the right SIZE.

Look at realeom and you'll understand they come in different sizes. RED and BLUE come in different sizes, so you must order the correct SIZE.

explaining the colors is so complicated. normally the reds give a tighter clearance, for example: 60mm red bearing shell might be 59.98, where as the 60mm blue might be 59.97. you really need to measure and check the clearances to know what shells you should be using.

edit: but 0.01mm isn't a huge thing anyway. i wouldnt worry too hard about the colors, just make sure your clearances are good.

the same thing applies for the rod bearings as the main bearings. are yours marked red and blue on the rods also?

FWIW I went with standard rod bearings/main bearings and new rod bolts for my bottom end rebuild - rings and bores were fine at 300k and compression was full. Crank showed no wear. Bearings showed low oil wear likely caused by shattered plastic in oil pump pickup. Engine turns over easily and has adequate oil pressure at idle.

in some articles say that put red and one blue .

has anyone a manual where to write exactly how to make?

Dani? (I assume that's your name), it's not rocket science really. Stop going by colors, what matters most is that you get the right size bearings. I don't understand how you are not seeing that a red or blue can be of many different sizes....
