    alpina m30 intake

    Found this photo of an m30 in a alpina b6 and thought I would share. Note the intake entering the opposite side of the manifold

      I think many people are aware of the Alpina b6 m30 intake. It's very rare but an extremely sexy part!

      Edit: On a side note, how ugly is the b34! those struts for the intake are just ugh, and the lack of injector box/cover is just yukky! hahaha.

              Yea. Never liked the b34 struts. Must have been an engineer imported from ford working on the motor that day.

                              the b34 struts suck... switching to motronic 1.3 tho makes things look much nicer and starts to distract from the struts!

                                      Do you even need those braces though?

                                                  The rule I always go by is either run the struts or the little metal brace that goes under the manifold. Obviously both would be the safest bet but I have never heard of anyone having a problem using just one or the other.
