Try car-part.com: a junkyard website. Search for any e34 or e32 535 or 735. Or the forums. eBay, sorry to say, is a ripoff.
When you get the parts, inspect them closely and see what parts from your alpina that you can mix and match. I'm sure there's some commonality, but I'm not sure which parts specifically. I'm thinking some pump internals might be reused.
The pan gasket, go to www.thebmwpartstore.com. In my experience, the CHEAPEST place for parts for your bimmer.

Yes the 333i had mounts that only facilitated the use of the Alpina radiator, this radiator sits partly in the front aperture taking up valuable room for front mounted intercooler. My radiator has decided to give up the ghost so taking the opertunity to change my intercooler arrangement. The Alpina sump is a pain as its bowl is rather rearward with not much space between the steering rack. I want to update to position 3 but have measured up and will have interference on the sump. Can get the sump and oil pump and pick up 2nd hand quite cheaply but nervous of putting an unknown pump on my engine which has done less than 80k miles hence wondering if I could just use the later pick up.
What source do you know for cheap pump/pickups?
Thanks for adviceLeave a comment:

E30 M30 Swap Writeup - Complete
Hey scoobydo,
So if I understand you correctly, and regardless of your radiator discussion, you basically want to move the engine further back. Using the 2nd generation m30, you must replace both the pan and pump/pickup.
1. You will have an interference on the oil pan itself when pushing the engine further rearward.
2. Because you must replace the pan, you must get the appropriate pump/pickup from the newer m30 as they are compatible with each other.
Nowadays it's cheap to get a new style m30 pan and pump/pickup.
Good luck!
Frank

Frank,
I have a 333i that cam with the M30 b32 engine, looking to change out the radiator to an E28 type rather than the Alpina radiator. I have mounts from Tino to replace my Alpina ones thus pushing the engine back further but this then means a change of sump and oil pick up/oil pump. I would prefer just the pick up so that I can retain my current pump as that is good condition and low mileage do you know if that is possible. If not may look to chop and weld my Alpina sump.
Sorry slightly off topic but relevant tks in advanceLeave a comment:
