Do you have the dyno sheets yet?

Ran into a problem with the flywheel. Apparently I was sold the wrong one so I am in the process of sourcing another flywheel then once that is installed it will be heading to the dyno.

still don't have the final numbers but took it out for a shake down and found a couple issues but it is pretty fast. the ole butt dyno says it is going to be pretty close to 300hp

the preliminary numbers were right at 200 for hp and torque at the wheels which is low but the dyno used for tuning the car reads very low. for example a stock sr20det at 8psi will read at 160hp

going to fix the couple of issues and put it on a different dyno to get the final numbers here in the next month or so.

What clutch/ flywheel did you use, or can the stock one hold that much?

Stock has been proven to hold 300tq yes.

To get 300hp out of that he probably rev it out pretty
high. I'm guessing not so much torque.

Yeah, like he said. I have heard the stock clutch can hold more then what I will be getting out of the motor but I am using a spec stage 4 clutch.

My motor is similar, except I'm using a 290 cam and m90 flat tops instead of custom pistons.. I can only put down right around 200 whp on motronic, I bet you'll put down around 230-240 to the wheels when tuned

Yeah, you are probably right but I can always hope and the butt dyno is always a little high. haha

what all do you have done to your motor?

Rebuilt and bored out b35 to 93.4 with m90 flat tops and m90 head for 10.5:1 CR. 3 angle valve job, decked and ported head with 290 cam, double valve springs, hardened keepers and rocker locks. Exhaust is stahl long tubes into single magnaflow muffler. I haven't gotten it running on megasquirt yet, but I'll update when I do. I'd like to bore to 94mm and go to 11:1 but that'll come later on, unless I decide to go FI.

^ Thats very interesting I was thinking about doing this, so is it the m90 head that bumped the compression ratio or was it the m90 pistons? On a side note, does the m90 have the same stroke as the m30 I can't remember?

It's the combination of the m90 head, m90 flat tops and longer stroke of the m30 crank (86mm vs 84mm). Same combo with the m30 head makes 10:1 cr

Maybe yall can help me with this. What was the factory claimed horsepower/torque for the m30b35 usa model and the m30 euro. I am finding/being told some conflicting info.

M30 is 208, m90 is 218 not sure about torque
