    WTF e28 radiators

Am I just unlucky or what? I have bought 2 e28 radiators, used, and one leaked from the core/bars, and one has cracked at the plastic inlet.

Are sellers on the internet just crappy, shippers rough, or are these radiators prone to doing this??? I can't remember reading of another instance of failure, and now I have 2. $150 in shit radiators.:hitler:

They're even cheaper on ebay. At each time I thought, "oh, the used ones seem to be plenty robust, I'll be fine'

It's worthed, If it was @ $20 at local wrecking yard.
But, not 2x in a row! "Screw me once..."
Well, brand new Behr radiator is not that expensive, consider the risk of used ones.

That one is for automatic cars (although you can still use it).

My first "used" e28 radiator looked new, but as soon as you poured coolant into it it pissed out pin holes in the core.

Lesson learnt, I just went and bought a new one after that.
