anoter 325e doing a m30 swap

well i was going to turbo my 325es once i do the i-swap but i have decided that im going to do the m30 swap and turbo charge it instead
i am aquiring a 1985 735i for only 300 bucks has the 5spd i think
it runs and drives i will take out everything i need and part out or scrap the rest
whatever money i get will go into rebuilding the m30
now i know there are mounts already available to purchase which i will do
and also i will need a radiator out of a e24 correct me if im wrong

what else will i need
drive shaft-out of which vehicle
wire harness-which vehicle

what else am i missing something

you'll need e32/e34 oil pan/pump/e24/e28 radiator/mounts are available do a search/harness is up to you...driveshaft depends on mounts and tranny... and so on.

im really excited my friend just got 2 1990 735i for scrap and he selling me the engine for 100 bucks hehe
it runs great and he said the guy he bough it from said it has very low miles like 80 or 90k miles
transmission went out so owners decided to sell it cheap

For $100 deff . jump on it dude. Pull the whole thing out, engine with all accessories and wiring/dme/exhaust manifolds. Don't get the tranny/radiator and you'll have like 80% of the items you'll need to do the swap.

What kind of shifter mechanism are you planning to employ?

Do you have your motor mount bracket? Keeping the E30 tranny bracket, right?
E30 Ignition Coil?
Driveshaft?

There are alot of questions that you probably need the answers to.

No need to rebuild with only 80k, you can boost that stock engine 10psi easily without opening it up.

i was going to use the z3 shifter
i need to get a e32 5spd transmission tho

no i have to order those in the next couple weeks
if i could use the e30 bracket i will keep it
do i use the e30 ignition coil or e32
and as drive shaft could i use the e30 or do i have to get a custom one made couldnt i use the e30vert halft and some other half?
