e30 motorswap m30b35 WHITH automatic

Hello everyone.

My name is fred and i come from the netherlands.
My car is an 1986 325i convertible automatic styled bij ac schnitzer.

I,ve looked everywhere on the internet incluiding germany but all the m30 conversions are whit a manual gearbox.
Is there somebody here who has done it or knows what kind of problems i ran in to ?
I,m afraid that the electrick of the automatic to difficult is to connect in a e30.

My plane is to buy a complete driving e32 or e34 so that i can test drive the car first en to have (almost ) everything which is needed.

I hope that some one can help me

hey,

when i was doing my m30 swap we put the auto box in just to see if it would fit, and it does not fit in the transmission tunnel. You would need to do extreme modifications plus sort the wiring out

I suspect that the bellhousing is to big ?

So the only thing to convert to a 335i is whith a manueal gearbox, that,s a bit of a disapointment since my car is already an automatic and there is no clutchpedal etc...

oh well , that adss up to my shoppinglist....

yes Doc olds bellhousing is too big, it would be less work converting it to manual then modifiying the tunnel
