    It's in!!!

Well after A LOT of anticipation and collection of misc. parts I have my motor installed. And all of you that have posted about this so far were not lying. It fits like a very tight glove!

:-D Finally. And to think it only took me 5 months to get this far.

Now that it fits I just have to order a few random bolts, hoses and a pilot bearing and i'm set.

tranny is already in and fits perfect. I just didn't get pics of it yet because it was pitch black and we were running off drop lights. Transmission lines up perfectly with old tranny mounts, shift linkage lines up perfectly with stock m20 setup and the driveshaft will not require any modification. Guess I lucked out with buying the 85 325e!

I was told that the motor was rebuilt with zero miles. Has a schrick 282. I bought it from a guy at a local tuner called eurowise. One of the mechanics bought it for his gf's e30 then strayed from the swap. You know where my motor came from?

Yea if memory serves me correct it was rebuilt, new bearings, honed, new rings and some other stuff.
The guy who rebuilt it was in Fort Meyers FL. You got a good solid engine and the cam will really wake the engine up.

yep this is the same motor. the guy I bought it from sent me the old thread that he bought it from. I bought the motor from my guy for only $600! All of the parts I have acquired have been steals. Tranny, clutch and flywheel for only $250.
