I would do a compression test
after looking for broken rockers.

To me it looks like you broke a ring land if ignition stuff is good and in
the right place.

This was my old car so there is no cat installed and the exhaust is only a couple thousand miles old. I hope this turns out well, but I'm thinking the head is going to have to be pulled to find the source of the problem. Let me know how it goes.

turns out cylinder 1 and 3 were not firing, cylinder 1 needed some more clearance on the valve and cylinder 3's injector crapped out. Parts are already being ordered.
