    B35 + a/c compressor

If you are running a B35 with an E30 a/c compressor can you please specify what compressor you are using?

Part number or what year/model it came from?

    Thanks

      I'm using a "Seiko" compressor from a '89 318i (m40 engine) on my b35, BMW part No. 6452 1385 000
Compressor part No. SS-811 PB 2

      Hope this helps?

Oh that's new! It bolts up to the b35 a/c bracket and clears the rad?

It was originally from an m40b18. Only thing I had to do was machine a spacer to fit in the top mounting hole.

My engine is in position 3, there's maybe about half an inch in between the pulley and the radiator. so yeah kinda close but it fits.

Sucks I gotta remove it again though...

So I was looking at mine today and I had pulled out my M42 yesterday. There is no way without some serious engineering and braketing to make the M42 compressor work. It's a giant bracket that bolts to the engine and then four big bolts go through the compressor into the bracket. So it looks like I am going to be using the B35 one. There is a thread somewhere that has the part numbers in it for the B35 comp I have.
