e28 528i manual swap fit e30?

As above. I found an e28 getting parted. The owner believes the gearbox is a getrag 260. Im just wondering whether it will all swap over or its an e30 to e30 only swap.

Does your car have an m30?

no so obviously the flywheel/ clutch will not fit. Im talking gearbox bellhousing, clutch master/slave cylinders, pedal box. Drive shaft. Is any of that able to fit?

m30 and m20 have a different bell housings. Will not work. :(
Clutch slave will work though.


My guess is non of the other stuff will fit either. imo
Never read about anyone putting in a e28 pedal assembly.

you dont even need the e30 pedal assembly, just the longer bolt and the metal arm that goes over the clutch slave from the manual car
