c101 connector help

    c101 connector help

    so i bought an 85 325e mint body but blown engine and i have an perfectly well running m10. both of them have the early style c101 rectangular connector for the the harness and i wanted to know if the m10 harnes will fit straight on to the m20 connector or will i have to rewire the connector?

      The old l-jet ran similar wire colours throughout, you'll find that most of them match up. weather the plugs connect I don't know.

      Just search, there are pin outs and wire colours explained all over this forum.

        #1 - BL : Alternator
        #4 - BR/VI : Coolant temp sensor
        #6 - GN/GE :
        #7 - R/VI : Fuel pump
        #8 - SW/GE with another small SW/GE : Starter
        #10 - GN : Coil
        #16 - SW/BR : Oil pressure switch
        #17 - WS/BL : Diagnositic port.
