Hello all,
I am currently taking everything off my b34 block so I can have it hot tanked. I am wondering how to remove the "bearing bolt" that is pressed in under the timing cover. It is used by the chain guides to pivot on. There is one for each of the timing guides, one is simply threaded in, this one is pressed in. If you follow the link below it is #13 in the drawing.
You can access it from the other side, but there isn't enough clearance to tap it out from behind. Is there some kind of pulling tool or make shift tool I can make/use to pull it?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Eric
