    Finally picked up an m30

So Ive been planning on doing a turbo m30 swap into my 86 eta for a while now, im finaly starting to gather parts now.

I picked up an m30b35 today that may need a head, but while apart i plan on doing a full rebuild. I was wondering if anyone here had an idea of what head i should try to find and do you have any recomendations for pistons, rods, cam?
    Thanks in advance! :)

Oh and once the rebuild is complete i plan on fully documenting the swap on here for you guys that may be interested!

I believe that cylinder head is pretty good for turboing. Dual valve springs and better cam than the M30B34. Compression is, what 9:1? It's ok for turboing from seeing other peoples builds. I think if your rebuilding aslong as the lower end is ok and you just have to replace bearings, seals, rings and whatnot the stock internals should be fine.

Somebody that has turbo'd one should chime in. Or check over at tcd's website for some info. That they a bunch of stuff with that motor.
89 325i: 86 535i motor+trans, JE forged pistons, MLS head gasket, ARP head studs, Comp turbo, GoodNTight b34 turbo manifold, e30.de motor mounts, AKG 75D engine/trans mounts, custom 3" exhaust, intercooler, MS2PNP, Megan Racing Coilovers.

my horsepower goal realistically is 300-350, although Ideally i would wanna be able to push it towards 400-450 eventually. I was thinking a mls head gasket .070, 8:5:1 je forged pistons, arp head studs, and just a rebuild of all the stock internals

what kind of turbo do you guys think would be best for this amount of power?
          thanks for all the help

Stock internals will be good for 300-350rwhp easily. MLS and ARP will be good for 400-500rwhp.
As far as turbo selection depends on how much you want to spend.
