How difficult is it to tune the WAR Chip?

You don't actually have to tune it at all. It comes pre-loaded with various tunes for various octane levels, rev limits, etc.. Mine is set to 91 octane and 6800rpm. You can also download other user's tunes from the Miller webpage or create your own. I haven't messed around with it personally, but if I ever mod the engine in the future (cams, valves, etc) I don't have to buy a custom-tuned chip.

Thats my plan. I decided to put the turbo build on hold until the car is exempt from emissions testing. Then its on!

If you have the a 260/6 you can use the stock m20 tranny mounts and crossmember.

I'm not sure if the m3 one uses the same mounting angles/points
but if you can't use it on an m20 than I think it won't work with the 260/6.

          Anyone confirm?

Also you can use the stock m20 linkage just switch the selector dogbone thing on the shift shaft thing over.

The trans is a g260/5 from a e28. I have a e30m3 brace and ordered a AKG e30 75d motor and trans mount set. Hopefully it will all cobble together and fit! I was just gonna play the shifter by ear. I was thinkin about making a custom shift linkage that was heavy and solid to take out the usual wobble.

                Zac,

Where are you in Columbia? I drive through there every Friday and Sunday. I'd like to stop by and see what you have going on. Friday afternoon would be the best.
