i need help i m30 /m90

i have a e30 to swap the engine in the donor car was a 1984 635csi that came with the m90 engine. but i dont know noting about this enigne what head gastket do i need. do i just get a m30 head gasket. it has a log type manifold and a distributor do i need a diffrent head and manifold

and what ecu do i use

You really need to verify exactly what you have. The M90 was not used in 84 and was only available in euro models. If you have the log type manifold: it was out of an 80 or earlier model unless things have been swapped. To find a better idea of what you have; you can reference the serial # stamped into the boss on the block above the starter next to where the bell housing attaches.
