Meh... not really all that in my opinion. That one ITB set the guy is making for the M20 is really fucking impressive (he's on this board I think). This one looks kind of half assed. The fuel rail isn't even, the gaskets look like ass, etc. I think a really well ported and polished head with some top quality parts will make a greater impact.

You are joking correct? or do you not realize that is the Factory S38 Multi throttle intake, just with an adapter plate to fit the M30 head. The S38 intake is very well built, already set up for ICV systems, you can tune each individual throttle body, etc..... I had a Euro M88 one(larger throttle plates then the S38) and kick my self every day for selling it, even though I doubled my money.

On further investigation I see that the fuel rail is just resting on top of the locations and is ascew... it looked like it was bent or something when I just glanced at it.

No, I didn't know it was the factory S38 ITB... still... you have a ITB that is set up for a twin cam engine going on a single cam engine. Best to go the custom route in my opinion so you don't have flow issues.

Flow issues are better than "Oh-no-it-don't-work-cuz-I-built-it-wrong" issues.

I must get around to finishing mine

BTW if any one wants to do some thing similar don't mess about making an adapter plate like me, chop the mounting flanges off the TB's and M30 inlet manifold and weld the inlet manifold flanges to the TB's.
