E28 Dash Plug n' Play E30?

Hey,
We should have our b34 ready to go in this weekend. The car is a 86 325e. Can I just take the dash cluster out of the e28 and plug it in the e30 ?? Would like to have a 6k tach vs 4k .

We modified our e28 harness to make it a plug n' play as well. Can't wait to hit the key..

Just get the 6k Tach from the 88 325. I used to have one.

Thanks. I tried using the e28 cluster just to verify and you are correct it doesn't work. Since we road race the car we will just put a big tach in with a shift light.
