help with m30/ trans .. questions plz read guys

Ok , Ive been carless for weeks .. honestly like a month+ and its eating me slowly .. i been trying to find engines , m20's or m30's or m50's , WHATEVER . I finally found this guy right by me in another city selling engines low at a shop .. i can go pick up a m30, (COMPLETE SETUP) for 400 bucks . Its still in the car and I can go listen to it , pay a deposit and get it removed . My question for EVERYONE, (yes ive done research) is which tranny would I need to get ?? here is more info on the engine .

    It comes from I believe he said 1986 , but a e23 735i , its a 3.5L engine with only 80k miles ! STEAL !

Do i need another drift shaft / transmission for this engine to be put into my 1989 bmw 325i ?? btw im going to sell my m20 engine for only 200 bucks on here if anybody wants . great for parting out i just dont have the time . Im changing engines because I have a warped head .

I wish there was a sticky, but you can use any manual trans that came
    from any m30, s14, or m10.
You want an m30 one with fins on the bottom, will probably
    come out of an e28.

Unless you smash your firewall in and sink the engine back like 5 inches
a stock driveshaft that uses the big flange will work.

Good luck and don't get too excited :p

I live in Broward county also. If you need engine mounts I make them for the B35.

Have you gone to U-Pull it in Fort lauderdale? You can find a decent transmission there.
Need a Turbo manifold? We have them in stock- Click here---> http://rapidspoolindustries.com/

The ones out of the e28 are the 265, 260/5 and the 260/6 getrag. All of them have different drive shafts.
