    Poly/ bolt through mounts

Have you guys found any that work with m30 swaps?

I just killed another set (2nd set this year, 3rd set total) of stock m20 round mounts today, once again the plate just sheered off the mount and I got luckly the radiator didn't get killed in the process.

I bought some Lencas mounts here on rev - Maybe you could ask him for a reinforced set?

Stockers are fine unless you are throwing the car around at the limit of sticky tires etc ...

I am going to give AKG poly mounts a shot.

          Poly everything

I just went with poly everything and did not worry about it. I figured why take the chance of them craping the bed while I am getting on it!

            Motor mounts?
I've had IE bushings for around 6 years no probs.

Is it a daily or do you autocross/hpde the car? The extra loads from throwing the car into corners on grippy tires is what's killing the bushings.

Well it held 400hp m20 and the m30 I throw it around allot but no
autocross. Stock marshmellow bushings is a given they'll rip on you.

I went with AKG m20 Race mounts. I think they are 75D... one step under aluminum.

so, has anyone actually found bolt-through mounts? our lemons car is not cool with stock mounts (heavy braking and chance of contact), and AKGs are obviously not in the budget. Are solid mounts a terribad idea?

I picked up some AKG red mounts for engine/tranny...should have these installed over the next day or so. We'll see how it goes.

Big time, but it's mostly the tranny mounts that make the noise.
