Going to look at a running m30b34

What are some issues that I should be aware of and possibly walk away from?

The research I did says to keep a close eye on overheating due to small water ports in the center and also the oil spray bar in the head sometimes comes loose and starves the cam/rockers from oil

      Go B35.

      More power.
      Improved, better flowing head design.
      Newer design with better cooling.
Better parts availability and resources for upgrading.

There are no obvious "this motor is going to explode" signs that are unique to the M30... everything is pretty common-sense. Is the motor currently running? Are there places where it looks like there's oil coming out of it? does it smoke?

That said, FYI the B34 is kind of annoying because there is a coolant fitting on the back of the head that makes it need some sledgehammer clearancing to fit, while it's possible to fit a B35 with no firewall mods with the right mounts.
