Okay, I finally got my tranny. It was SUPPOSED to be from a 535i, but it has the plate type shifter rather than the rod type. I have already bought the UUC SSK for the e34 535i. Any suggestions for making this stuff work? The only plate shifter I've got is from the 318i tranny, 240? i believe, and it isn't wide enough or it's too wide. It's just right to be wrong. Anyways, what are some suggestions? Make a custom mount for a rod type shifter, or can i get the SSK to work with a plate type shifter?
