I have a m30 b35 swapped into my e28 and recently installed the 179 ecu miller maf/chip. Idles fine at 750rpm. Took it out for a drive, once i got to a stop it idled at 1100 rpm. Parked it and still at 1100rpm, turn it off for about 4 mins, turned it back on and idled normal at 750rpm. Can it possibly be a bad chip they sent me or still adjusting? Took out the throttle body to make sure i had the right clearance. Checked all vacuum lines, everything turned out fine. Did all the troubleshooting on miller perforances website everything checked out fine.

Mine has done the same thing ever since I installed it. Considering I only put 2-3K miles a year on my car it never bothered me that much.
I've heard adjusting the TPS can help. I'm not 110% on the proper procedure, but I know the b35 TPS has an audible 'click' when the throttle opens. IIRC, the 'click' on the TPS should activate just as the throttle plate starts to open.
