    Stock DriveShaft Choice M30B35 with G265 ?

What's the best combination of stock BMW driveshafts (without cutting or welding) for a m30b35 with Getrag 265 swap?

I'm sort of interested in this myself. Is the optimal choice still the 325e driveshaft in this case?

In your case, i know they've used a G260 instead, with front-half of e30 driveshaft w/ big guibo + rear half of e34 M30 driveshaft (vise versa ?)

But, i still wanna know about the stock bmw driveshafts combo for G265 M30 swap.

        this wont work.

e34 uses a CV type rear 6 bolt to differential on the driveshaft. The center connection is also a different style.

Driveshaft choice for M30 swap (depending on mounts used) is outlined on the german e30 de (or similar i think 300mm de website.

you could also order a OEM BMW 333i e30 south africa version OEM BMW driveshaft. BMW SA had a Original factory e30+m30.

E30M / 325e freak model driveshafts are interchangable.
E36M driveshaft is also a good choice. It has a few variations, the automatic is shorter than the manual version if you are installing a 6 speed or pushing the M30 far back.

I think it was the other way around, instead.
          I'm sure Jared Squires got the combo of e34 or e28 m30 manual front-half + e30 m20 rear-half.
But, i couldn't recall if his was g260 or g265.

E30 and e34 front/rear half sections are different standards. Will not mate.

One is a 17mm bolt in style. One is giant 34 mm++ nut and slip collar.

G260 and g265 are almost the same, just different bell housings. Drive shaft could care less about transmission as long as the connecting guibo flange is the same standard and the lengths match to body.
