Which cluster for a M30 swap

So what cluster is best for a ETA car with a M30 swap. I know it has to come from a 325i but it seems some clusters are better than others? What should I look for besides leaking batteries?

I read someplace that you could switch wires around to make the m30 dash work. It would be nice to have the tach match the motor. I'm assuming the "i" dash may work since the redline was higher then the eta motor.

One of the guys on our team has both Bentley manuals and will try to figure out the wiring soon. I'll post it if we get it to work.

It is fun to see the eta tach needle peg..

Does it make a difference if I use a Motometer or a VDO cluster? What issues should I look for ? Its school time!!

325i cluster, vdo or motometer doesn't matter. Transfer the fuel gauge from your ETA cluster.
