Can someone tell me what this is?

Hi everyone, I know that I need to do more research on this but I guess that is why I am here. I'm currently in the process of doing a M30 swap into my 1985 Euro 323i. It currently has a 2.7 bottom and I think a 2.3 head from the previous owner. I initially thought that I could use the e30 harness for the E28 M30b34 engine by simply plugging away and plugging the E28 ECU to the E30 harness, but while looking at the harness and ECU that came with car, I notice that it's a 25 pin ECU with numbers 0280001308 and 1706431.9..... I don't want to use this E30 harness because the M30 motor I bought came with a complete harness and chipped ECU.

Things I figured out is, C101 colors match and slice, thanks to Franks swap guide!;)

Now there's is one more thing that I can't figure out. Look at the picture and please tell me what this is and how I can slice the E28 harness to match this? This goes into the firewall.

More information. I have a M30b34 from a 1985 - 87 (at least that's what it said on the head) 535i and with a G265 transmission going into a 1985 Euro E30 with a previous 2.7l swap by previous owner, I don't know why they swapped with a 2.7 but I guess they were thinking turbo because the intake manifold appears to be from the 2.3 euro engine... i don't know:-|
