    M30 turbo 1/4 vid

    Finally ran the car down the 1/4 mile.Trap speeds were consistent between 133-135. It was cool since I had the oldest car there and one of the fastest.
    This was on 20-22 psi and E85.

      Thanks, I was among high dollar cars, GTR's, Z06's, P cars and so on, once they saw my trap speed no one wanted to line up with me..lol.!!
      I'm switching to a C4 auto setup to dip into the low 10's.

          Yup. Trap speed tells the real deal. 1/4 time has so much to do with just the launch.
          This is awesome dude. BTW I really liked the feature in performance bmw on your car, tells a lot about your story behind it and all.

            Time? Filters are killing me here at work. That trap speed is nuts.

            (I swear I regret swapping in a 24v engine after watching each of your vids otis.)

                I missed the memo :(. I caught on the hype of a 24v too fast. I was amazed at the m30s power when I had my e28 and instantly regretted not putting one in my e30.

                          Congratulations on your time Otis. I'm liking the idea of converting to a c4 auto. We are running one on one of our cars at work we're hoping for a mid 8 second pass. Are you gonna be running a transbrake to get it up on boost before taking off?

                            High stall converter would be the best option for Otis's application I reckon.

                              Dammmnnn 135 trap!! What gears are you running and what redline are you shifting at? Your car is a absolute animal!! I love how all the fast e30s are mostly built by there owners blood sweat and tears. Then you get to suprise all these people who just paid for new cars or paid someone else to do upgrades for them.
