    M40 to M20 swap

I have an opportunity to buy a dirt cheap 2 door e30 318i AUTO m40.

I want to swap in a m20 turbo motor i was just wondering what i would have to
the drive line to manage the power E.g Diff, drive shafts + suspention.

I would also have to do a 5 speed swap. is that very involved.

How much horsepower are you aiming for? Ive heard people say anything over 400hp/ft*lbs and you start to reach the limits for the drive/halfshafts. 5 speed swaps are not hard and youre swaping in an m20, an engine that came stock in the car. Very little if any custom work except for whats needed for the turbo.
