Damn it fits...!! You will notice a huge difference for sure in spool time for sure. Re-tune in order before you get crazy on the throttle.

How u like that cat cam? I'm looking to get that same one.
Says you can use stock springs with it.

Nevermind I see your post #381. Was that same boost?

Because I want a reliable daily driver I along with the help of Otis and another friend changed the spark map to a more conservative tune.
I also removed the boost controller and ran off of the wastegate which is 12.5psi

        All that being said,

In May the car, with a more aggressive spark map, made:
        414whp and 427wtq

Today the car, with the new cam and conservative tune, made:

        407whp and 464wtq

I lost a little bit of hp but gained tq. I am sure that if I went with a more aggressive tune I could also see gains in hp but my goal is to have a reliable daily driver. The question on my mind is this, Was it worth paying the $500ish for the Cat Cam?

        Long answer short- Yes.

Even though the Hp seems to have suffered on paper the power comes in sooner and smoother. Once the boost builds the tq is amazing. Seeing as how we basically de-tuned the MS the gain in tq says a lot. I am more excited now than ever about getting meth injection on this car and turning it up.

Excellent sir. Can't imagine how fast that thing is gonna spool.

So I got some work done! I didn't want to completely rebuild the down pipe so I modified what I had. And I got to practice my metal working skills when I reduced a 3" pipe down to match the V-band flange. I need to finish the welds and wrap the down pipe again, connect the oil return, have the coolant lines made and install, and change the oil & filter. Afterwards I will need to tweak the tune.

              Pic time!

Very nice, the downpipe is one of the larger obstacles I have left. Looks good.

The return from the waste gate is the biggest puzzle. But this is the second time around for me on this down pipe so it's not so bad. With the new turbo the positioning of the down pipe is much better allowing much more clearance in places that were previously extremely tight

M30 swap for my Olive Drab Vert!

Oh and I got some v band flanges.... I'm going to make my muffler a "quick change" and have a straight pipe to swap with it at will! It'll sound like raw testosterone, red bull, and the sobs of Thor as he realizes that his hammer holds nothing on my car!

Wrapped and installed down pipe. I'm loving the fitment.

So, things happened early this morning and then being a single dad/snow got in the way of progress.

I finished and installed my "quick change" rear exhaust section. The restrictive and heavy flow master series 50 muffler is now on the shelf. In its place..... V-band and straight pipe!
