    Cold weather woes

This cold winter weather seems to not treat my eta well. Today I was doing 65mph in 5th gear at about 2200 rpms and my engine stutters, like it's not firing on all cylinders or something. It did it during my entire 40 mile commute. What would cause it to do this?

I have a K&N panel filter. Should I put stock filter back in?

My brother has an 86 325es and I was told by a local mechanic that they have a really hard time getting power from the battery in the cold. He told me that it works so hard that it can burn out the cable and shot the breaker. His car doesn't like to start in the winter maybe yours just doesn't like to fire?

Just try putting some "Heet" into your tank, or any other brand water remover.

Can someone move this to tech? Probably get a lot more replies in there.
