What is this part?

soo I totaly forgot what this part is and where it goes. this is for a e30 m30 swap

appears to be the cannister purge valve. goes between the charcoal cannister and the throttle body

hmmmm it goes from the canister to the bottom of the manifold?

Yes that is where it goes. Should have a little bracket thing to mount it up. Left side bottom of the manifold.

good thing i sorted that out, i thought it was my flux capacitor for a min..

now on to figure out why im not getting spark :(

If you have an E34 Bentley book and a multimeter, look through spark related stuff and looks for correct resistances and all that stuff. Have you replaced plugs, wires, and cap/rotor?
