      What did you find out? I have an e34 and an e28 radiator for when I do my swap. I'd like to rub the e34 if I can to help keep it cooler

        Hmm I can't quite recall where I read it, but the e34 is supposed to be too wide. Not sure if it was wide as in wide or wide as in thick.

        Can you post some comparison pix with dimensions since we know the e28 one works?

          E34 rad won't fit in e30 unless you cut the body...it's too wide. You must use e28 rad or custom rad.

            Hmmm, thanks for the clarification. Now I wonder if I can remove the plastic end tanks and modify them or make some aluminum ones that would work.



            Actually now that I'm thinking about it, the e34 radiator I pulled at the yard I ended up putting back cause it had the built in oil cooler. I actually have 740I and e28 radiators. The 740 looked really close to the e34. I wonder if there is any difference?
